THE PYROMETRY PROCESSES
The purpose of a temperature uniformity survey is to ensure that your oven or furnace heats materials evenly and consistently. During the survey, our field technician will place thermocouples in specific locations within the equipment to measure temperatures and chart the readings over time. This will allow us to verify temperature consistency throughout the oven or furnace under normal operating conditions.
To perform a system accuracy test, the technician will verify that the temperature control system is accurately regulating the oven or furnace temperature by comparing readings from the temperature control instrument with readings from a calibration test instrument. This includes calibrating thermocouples, temperature control instruments, and other system components to ensure that they provide correct temperatures throughout the oven or furnace.
