Regular calibration is essential for ensuring repeatable accuracy in any measuring instrument. During calibration, the instrument's measurement is compared with that of a standard or allowable tolerances. If the measurement produced by the instrument is outside of tolerance, adjustments are made to bring it back within acceptable limits.

Vacuum calibration customers receive a detailed Calibration Certificate for each item calibrated that lists “as received” data, complete calibration results, information about any adjustments or repairs made during calibration and traceability.
THE VACUUM CALIBRATION PROCESS
To conduct vacuum calibration, Zhejiang Guojian Testing Technology Co., Ltd (CCT) Metrology employs computerized pressure modules with negative pressure capabilities to inspect and document the results. Prior to calibration, the instruments undergo a full-capacity exercise three times to ensure they are functioning correctly.
During the calibration process, a known standard is set for each pressure point inspected and compared to the readings obtained from the instrument being calibrated, revealing any deviation from the standard. Instruments usually undergo a 5-point vacuum calibration, with standard comparisons occurring every 20% of capacity. For higher accuracy, a 10-point calibration is conducted at every 10% of capacity.
