The accuracy and consistency of torque instruments are critical to the success of many manufacturing processes. CCT Metrology offers routine torque calibration services to ensure that torque instruments are operating within allowable tolerances. During calibration, the test equipment compares the torque produced by the instrument to its allowable tolerance, and adjustments are made if necessary. Clients in industries that use torque instruments can rely on CCT Metrology to provide accurate and traceable calibration services to support their operations. Our full-service calibration lab is located in the China area.
CCT Metrology provides torque calibration services for various types of torque instruments including torque transducers, tensiometers, and torque sensors with a load capacity of up to 2,000 ft-lbf. Our skilled technicians are also experienced in presetting torque devices. We pride ourselves on delivering fast and reliable calibration services, and our Calibration Certificate includes comprehensive calibration results, traceable information, and accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
Our torque calibration capabilities cover a wide range of instruments within specified ranges. If you are unsure whether your instrument falls within our capabilities, feel free to request a quote.

Numerous sources such as standards, manufacturers' guidelines, federal specifications, and customers' requirements generate torque calibration needs. To calibrate torque wrenches, torque sensors, and preset screwdrivers, we use the torque system and select the appropriate transducer from multiple options that fit the instrument's range. When calibrating torque multipliers, we use two transducers, one to measure the input and the other to measure the output.
Cable tensiometers are calibrated using a fixed amount of deadweight attached to the cable, along with a known cable diameter. To verify the instrument's accuracy, the cable tensiometer is attached to the cable with the suspended weight, and this process is repeated with different cables and loads suitable for the calibrated instrument.
Torque testers, transducers, and watches are calibrated using torque wheels, arms, and weights. The torque generated is determined by calculating the relationship between the known length and weight. All instruments record "as received" data based on predetermined test points, and any adjustments made during calibration are noted as "as left" conditions. Calibration results, along with the calibration certificate, are provided.
If you require a faster turnaround than our standard delivery, CCT Metrology offers expedited calibration service for many instruments. You can refer to our list of Calibration Services & Instruments Calibrated to see the comprehensive range of services provided by our full-service laboratory.
